PINEAPPLE BANANA SMOOTHIE
(RAMAZAN SPECIAL)
The Smoothie, also spelled Smoothy is a thick drink, consists of fruit or vegetables, mixed with yogurt, milk, sugar or honey etc with crushed Ice. It has quite a few variants like Green Smoothies now in fashion as well as for health conscious people. Green Smoothies are made up from Green vegetables, mostly Cucumber, Spinach, Mint etc. Ice cream is also added sometimes.
Smoothies are popular around the world and in Europe, these Smoothies are marketed in bottles and are available in every General Store or Super Market.
Smoothies can be made from the fruit of your choice with helping ingredients like Sugar, Milk, Yogurt, Crushed Ice etc. Mango with Yogurt and Milk Smoothie is similar to Mango Lassi, which is very popular and household summer drink in the sub-continent.
In European Market, Smoothie is also made up with additions of vitamins and minerals in it and people love it.
Here we are going to make our Pineapple Banana Smoothie for Iftar during Ramazan, it is not o ly healthy and nourishing but at the same time rich in taste as well.
Let us start making our very simple and easy Smoothie with the name of ALLAH.
WHAT WE NEED:
- 1 200 ml Tin of crushed Pineapple
- 6 Bananas
- 400 ml Yogurt
- 200 grams of Sugar
- Crushed Ice as required
- 1 Teaspoon of Pineapple Essence (OPTIONAL)
HOW WE'LL MAKE IT:
- Blend all ingredients in a large Blender and pour out into the serving glasses, decorate with Red Cherries on top.
- Enjoy while fresh and cold.
