CRISPY FRIED CHICKEN WINGS (RAMAZAN SPECIAL)

CRISPY FRIED CHICKEN WINGS

(RAMAZAN SPECIAL)

Fried Chicken Wings are liked everywhere, more famous among different type of fried wings are Buffalo Wings, originated in Buffalo, New York in 1964 by one Teressa Bellissimo who owned Anchor Bar with her husband.

It is an American dish, the wing section of chicken is cut, marinated in different spices or sauces and then deep fried.

These wings will be a great addition at Iftar time during the Holy month of Ramazan.

INGREDIENTS WE NEED:

  1. 1 kg Chicken Wings
  2. 4-6 Tablespoon White Vinegar
  3. 4-6 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
  4. 4-6 Tablespoon Chili Sauce
  5. 1 Tablespoon Black Pepper
  6. 2 Tablespoon Chat Masala
  7. Salt to Tase
  8. 1 Tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste

FOR COATING:

  1. 2 Cups All Purpose Flour
  2. 1 Cup Corn Starch/Flour
  3. 1/2 Cup Rice Flour
  4. 1 Teaspoon Salt
  5. 1 Teaspoon Red Cili Powder
  6. 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  7. 3 Eggs
  8. 3 Tablespoons Milk
SERVE WITH SAUCES OF YOUR CHOICE OR:

  1. Cole slaw
  2. Broast Sauce
  3. French Fries

HOW WE MAKE OUR WINGS:

  1. Make small cuts, not very deep in the fleshy parts of the wings.
  2. Marinate chicken wings in the given spices and rest in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours
  3. In a wide dish mix Flour, Corn Flour, Rice Flour together and then mix Black Pepper and salt to taste in it.
  4. In another wide bowl or a deep plate beat the eggs with milk and put aside.
  5. Heat oil in a wok on low heat
  6. Take a Chicken Wing and coat it with the flour mixture by pressing the floor in the cavities.
  7. The same wing now is put in the Egg mixture and be coated well and again put the same in the flour mixture for the second coat.
  8. Put the wings in the oil to deep fry one by one after coating them with flour and egg mixtures.
  9. Turn then when the sides look golden.
  10. Take out on paper towel after being golden brown
  11. For more variety, prepare french fries and serve them with the wings along with any sauce or sauces of your choice. I prefer Cole Slaw and Spicy Yogurt, Cucumber and Tomato Sauce.

There was no FEAR OF FAILURE in preparing the Wings.
